Dryad

In Roman and Greek mythology it means the goddess of the forest, and legend has it that each oak tree is inhabited by spirits who communicate their oracles to humans through Dryads. They live on the tops of mountains (Mount Olead), by springs or rivers (the Naéadon) or in the trees of the forest (the Driaden Forest). They symbolize the irrational, animal side of human nature.
